The New Blue & Brown Kits Are Here
Well, not actually here in Utah, but shipping from Squadra on 9/4. So we should have them mid-next week. Thanks to everyone for being patient. We will be the first team in the U.S. to be wearing new patterns for Squadra’s ONZA line. We also have been extended a bro deal to put together a cold weather clothing order with low minimums. So after we get the goods, I’ll be hitting everyone up to see if there is any interest in long sleeve jerseys and vests. Stay tuned.

Thanks to Greg Demgen, aka Dough for modeling.
New Bibshort Design Finalized
We are pleased to unveil our 2009 bibshort design which completes the new team kit. Don (the design guy at Squadra) was working on a new design for us based on a yet-to-be-released pattern that incorporates sublimated side panels, back panel and lower leg wrap panels, all in one piece of fabric. We will be the first team in the U.S. that will get this new cut, as Squadra won’t be introducing it into their line until 2010. Take a look and see how it jives with the jersey design. We tried in the past to carry the stripes all the way down, but it never looked quite right because of the different fabric panels. Visit the Clothing Page to Pre-Order your bibshorts now, as we will only do one order for bibs this year. We will offer both men’s and women’s. The women’s have a special women-specific chamois pad and a shorter length cut. Please note, the images make it look like these are not bibshorts, but this is just for design purposes to show off the printed area. We are definitely ordering bibs, and only bibs.

New Club Members
Thanks to Ben Attridge and Blair Rajamaki for joining up with the X-Men for 2009. I have known Ben since I first moved to Utah in 1993, when Ben had a genuine Schwinn Paramount. Ben was the inspiring mind behind the light blue and chocolate brown kit colors. Blair (you can call her Coach) has been riding and racing since her high school days when she was a wee little nordic skier looking to get into cycling for cross-training. She recently finished a nursing degree, so hopefully she can lend her expertise if anyone gets road rash, but hopefully we won’t need to.
