X-Men Cycling Club

I finally got around to making a Facebook Fan Page for the X-Men. If you are into the whole Facebook thing, look us up and become a fan. We still have the X-Men group on Facebook, but there are more things you can do to Fan pages, such as adding 3rd party applications. Cool. We’ll keep the Group up for awhile until we build some content on the Fan Page, but the long term plan is to keep everyone updated on FB with the Fan Page.

As of February, The X-Men Club dues are paid and current for the 2010 racing season. That means if you have yet to renew your license for 2010, and you plan on wearing the stripes this year, make sure you indicate The X-Men club ID 6034 on your renewal form. We’ll be posting info soon on how you can pre-order team clothing for the upcoming season, in case you missed out on the last round.

Even though many of the diehard cyclocross racers have been praying for rain, snow, and mud, I have been digging this warm and sunny weather. Nice to sneak out for a lunch ride and not have to get all bundled up with winter gear. Yesterday, I went out with a co-worker from Welikesmall. We rode from Sugarhouse up to 3300, then up to Wasatch Blvd. Saw lots of riders cruising Wasatch, then ran into Ben Attridge who was riding the other way. This weather won’t last. I’m predicting that this Saturday’s CX race at the Weber Fairgrounds will be the last dry one.
